After going on hiatus in 2004, Florida’s SCHOOL FOR HEROES decided to re-ignite their creative spark in 2006 and unleash possibly the most unruly release in their entire career. 2007’s The Answer is exactly that; a bold declaration to any of the bands naysayers that a completely new and revitalized SCHOOL FOR HEROES era has begun. The five brand new tracks found on this EP are heavier than every before with obvious influence by Hatrebreed and Throwdown yet they are able to still maintain the melodic elements of past SCHOOL FOR HEROES material. Co-produced by Jamie King (BETWEEN THE BURIED & ME, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, KILLWHITNEYDEAD, GLASS CASKET, etc) the material is a precise, well constructed combination of styles that the five individual members bring to the table. Whether it’s the new addition of heavy handed anthems or keeping with the SCHOOL FOR HEROES time-tested melodic accessibility, The Answer is a great first step back into the spotlight.
